Lofoten's flower flora is the foundation of the bunad. Work on the bunad started in 1940 by teacher Arnolda Dahl (born 1880) together with bunadnemda in Hol Husflidslag, and was completed in 1948. The embroidery pattern was designed by the artist painter Edvarda Lie from Lofoten.
The stack is in dark blue cloth and folded in front and wrinkles behind. Along the stitching edge there is an embroidered flower table and red decorative edge.
The skirt is the waist in the waist and of the same quality and color as the stack. Such jerseys were common in the early 1800s. The front piece and the back have the same embroidery pattern as the stack. Life has a red tip around the neckline and the sleeve holes, and closes with six silver buttons.
The bag should be alive and stuck in quality, color and embroidery.
The chest is made of the same quality, color and embroidery as the stack with a red decorative edge.
The bunad shirt is lined with embroidery on collar and cuff.
Cape is similar to the stack in quality and color, with red woolen fur and red decorative edge as on the stack.
Socks should be white, gray or black.
